| |
| 3. Sales targets |
| (1) |
Customers who have been using such soft media as corn, walnuts, and apricots.
They basically have irregular shapes so they are difficult to be applied to Roll-flow polishing machines, especially for products with holes.
However, as this medium has certain definite shapes, they can be substituted for the above-mentioned media, thereby solving such problems.
Use of the medium in the Roll-flow polishing machine enables us to find a niche market
targeting customers who hesitate to use currently available soft media.
(A solution to the clearance/disposal problem) |
| (2) |
Customers who do not like using polishing media.
There have recently been a growing number of customers who do not like to use polishing media that are easily clung to products. |
| (3) |
Reduction in expenses on the disposal of soft media.
Most of the soft media are lightweight after use; but, they are quite large in volume and thus cost dear to be disposed of. Pellets quickly lose the contamination on their surfaces when they are put in running water or a wash chamber/unit. This property may allow them to be used several times, which still requires further testing, and will, if so, lead to reductions in disposal expenses. |
