BARREL MACHINE

This is a finishing machine that applies the vibration and screw motion that occurs because of the unbalanced weight that is fixed to both ends of a motor and is most widely used for the barrel finishing area.
Engineering works mixed with Barrel Media do the finishing by performing friction motion within the barrel tank. They are good for rough finishing and gloss work.
Good for various surface treatments, such as removing burr and scale, treatment before coating and burnishing, in particular.
This machine is especially good for the finishing of medium and small products whose barrel media aren’t replaced frequently. If the finishing time for one time doesn’t exceed two hours, it can be more effective than a centrifuge barrel finishing machine.
In the GVA type to which a screening device is attached, engineering works and barrel media are automatically selected and separated after finishing, saving labor and time.

The finishing tank of this finishing machine consists of a fixed wall and lower turret. If the turret rotates and powerfully pushes the barrel media and components to the fixed wall, the barrel media and components which hit the wall return to the turret, and then the turret pushes them to the wall again. During this process, the barrel media and components form a spiral whirlpool, creating a strong cutting power or gloss through a rubbing power. This machine hasn’t become popular despite such features, because residues of barrel media or components were caught in the cap between the fixed wall and turret, causing problem s. In addition, the cap was easily worn, so users experienced problems in the follow-up service, including replacement of PU lining. This machine that is made by our company, however, is really innovative because such problems have been perfectly solved.
